Hudson Family

 

Eric Hudson is a Pastor and the Primary worship Leader for Emet Church.  Eric graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice/Psychology and served as a police officer for the Pasadena Police Department where he served as a Detective and a crisis/hostage negotiator. In 2013, Eric left his career in law enforcement to answer God’s calling for his life to enter into full time ministry.

Eric has been married to his beautiful wife Meredith Hudson since 1995.  They have three sons Reagen, Noah and Caleb. In 2013, God blessed the Hudson family with a precious little girl named Sofia whom they adopted.  Sofia, who is five, has autism, and is one of the most amazing little girls you will ever meet.

Eric has a passion for leading worship, for foster care and adoption, children with special needs, and serving God through missions.  

 

Random things about Eric:

 

  • My Favorite book of the Bible is the book of Acts
  • My favorite secret movie would have to be Nacho Libre.
  • Do I have any quirks? Yes, I am constantly beating on something with my hands or feet trying to make percussion sounds.  It may also be a nervous twitch.
  • The most annoying question I get asked.  When I was a police officer it was “how many people have you shot?”.  As a Worship Pastor it would have to be “do you know how to play I Can Only Imagine?”
  • If I could do mission work anywhere in the world I will always say San Lucas Toliman in Guatemala first.  But I would also like to travel to Africa and any random place where the word of God has not been heard.
  • If I could pick one random superpower I would want the ability to travel back in time.
